So a couple days ago someone on GAF linked to Ostagram (http://ostagram.ru/static_pages/lenta?last_days=30&locale=en), a bootstrapped site that uses an open source neural network image processor named Neural Style (https://github.com/jcjohnson/neural-style).

It's a feed of images processed on the site and it's quite stunning what can be achieved by blending art with photos and all kinds of other input variations.

Based on my own tests with the site the results vary wildly. It really does need a very good pairing of images to get decent results, but when it works it's great.

For new users the wait time is like a minute, at least it was for me, but subsequent images can take anywhere from hours to a day to get processed due to the popularity of the site. A premium tier offers a shorter wait time and larger output image but if you have a Linux box you could set up the CLI version yourself.

I guess I wouldn't mind wasting half an hour there trying some stuff out. :D

If only less of the feed was bad selfies :p In some it's as if you can read the thought process of some choices, like they're trying to genetically engineer a better version of someone.

Saw a few which added two photos of women in bikinis in the hope the output would be like a 'super' pretty version, without realizing it's not a morph tool haha. The result was predictably strange.

Looks cool. Have a translator handy if you sign up, the terms of service are in Russian :thumb:
