While de-soldering a switch on an Infinity ErgoDox a bit of soldered landed on chip U2, and short two of the legs together. I tried to get the bit of solder off, and while doing that managed to also de-solder the the legs from the PCB & de-solder and lose C8.
I was able to order a replacement for C8, but not for U2 - I hope I didn't damage it. Anyone know where I can pick up a replacement U2? Link to PCB's BOM. (https://github.com/kiibohd/pcb/blob/master/ICED%20-%20Right/Ergodox%20PCBA%20BOM%20-%20Sheet1.pdf)
How can I resolder C8, it's too small for conventional soldering iron; hot air soldering maybe? Are U2 and C8 needed for the kbd function or just for LEDs?

c8 can be done with hand soldering, but you will probably want magnification and fine point tweezers.
u2 is just a led driver, you likely dont need it, but floating pins from u1 might cause issues
IS31FL3731 is here, but it may be the wrong package for the pcb footprint

OK, thanks. I'll give c8 a shot. That's the wrong footprint for u2, but thanks anyway. I'm not sure how to solder it down without shorting the legs together, any advice?
Why is your name Col. Kadat but your picture is of Chairman Steve? :))
