As far as content goes I think that it's fine, maybe go a little more in depth when you know stuff about the topic at hand off the top of your head (ex. company history, product history, drama ect) but not a necessity all the time.

Try and practice memorizing your script so you won't have to refer to it so much.

The noise was fine and the fan wasn't noticeable.

Also one last tidbit but I couldn't see the video on tapatalk so maybe include a link at the bottom.

Overall you did great for your first time and I look forward to the meetup and the rest of your videos.

Thanks a lot for the feedback! I think a lot of what I'm trying to balance is delivering the articles and the amount of depth I should add to each one. It's definitely something I'll be working on. I'll definitely be adding more depth as I go on though. I think that'll do well to hold the attention of viewers.

I'll work on changing the camera angle. I'm moving to a new place next weekend so I'll get a chance to set up everything nicely there :). So maybe I should be slightly farther away, and not as centered? I was thinking that so I could have more space to throw up the relevant media to the topics I bring up.

Thanks and the meetup information should be coming out in a week or so :)

Post by: Floody on Tue, 19 July 2016, 00:34:29: I agree on the balance. That's why I think you should just sometimes throw in things you personally know since I know you know a lot! This way it will make the video seem more like a discussion than just an informative video.

Yea I think slightly further will work. I saw that you wanted to talk with your hands in the video which is great but you looked a bit restricted because of your desk to do it, so further back should give you the necessary room.
