Greetings from my Leopold 660m,
This is a great forum. I have had luck with all of the help here. I even purchased the Leopold 660m I am typing on now from one of the members. :thumb:
I would like to get a full sized keyboard for my office. I am an associate attorney so much of what I do is write drafts, in between trying to figure out what I am actually doing :D
Does anyone here have a suggestion? I was looking at a Realforce 104u. A number pad is a must.
Also if you are selling whatever you are suggesting make sure to PM me! (as an aside if there is any interest -- I have a Rzr blackwidow full size I purchased new in 99% cond. I would be willing to let go for a song or trade. I love the board but the keys are too loud for the office.)
Thanks!

Take a look at the Ducky Taiwan Realforce 104-key model (https://mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=1509). It is very expensive, but it is worth every penny. The silent sliders make this keyboard easy on the ears and very fun to type on. The numpad especially is really nice, with a curved big 0 key for comfy data entry. If I had to have a full size office keyboard this would be the one.
I also wrote a review (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=80441.0) on the board, so feel free to ask questions :)

if the Taiwan realforce costs just as much as the Japan realforce.. Why not get the Japan one for Full on Weeb-power..

Thank you both for your replies;
I second the above question.
Also, is there any board you would recommend over the Realforce 104u?

Full sized with Topre switches? No. If you mean in general, there are a lot of boards others would recommend over a 104U.

It's Taiwan edition but it's still made in Japan by the same company. It's like saying Pokemon Ruby version but it's still authentic Pokemon game.
That and Japanese layout is quite different so you definitely don't want Japanese layout.
I'd say just get that Ducky Topre or RealForce 104U. And if you're tight on budget then you should look into Topre Type Heaven (ABS Keycaps as oppose to PBT).

Out of curiosity what other boards would you recommend over a 104u?

Over a 104U? None. The 104U is my personal favorite, but that's me. I mean, I like the Apple Extended Keyboard, Filco Majestouch-2 (MX Browns), IBM Model M, and the others listed in my signature, but I prefer the 104U.
