Title: A Wise Haul
Post by: milesp on Thu, 21 July 2016, 22:14:54
Always liked the look and feel of old WYSE keyboards, especially with the black Cherry keys.
Some furniture store in the early 2000's had left over terminal keyboards used as props in the office section when I was a kid, loved the clicky snap and the yellow arrow keys.
Anyway, I finally got the chance to get my hands on a bunch, and here's what I got.
From top to bottom:
WY85
WY60
WY AT / 99GT 840275-04 (Missing a couple Function keys, I used what I had in the parts bin for now)
WY30 840013-01
(Also got a PCE 840 in the lot that is in use at work, thanks to Soarer's converter. I'm using the WY30 type at home, and OS X likes it as well with Soarer's converter.)

Enjoy! :)

That's a nice haul, lots of layout quirks but it gives them character :)

What a haul indeed.
Lots of interesting boards there for sure.

Nice haul! In case you hadn't seen it already: You could use (some of?) those on a modern computer with Soarer's Wyse converter firmware (https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=52597.0) on a Teensy 2.0, Arduino Pro Micro or compatible.
