If only my mates also woke up early enough in the morning to play lol

Now my morning routine is breakfast, taking care of cats, and doing that usual morning gaming.

it helps a ton if the thing you have to be up for keeps a roof over your head. i still stay up until 3am some nights, but i always know i NEED to get up now for survival. days off I still sleep about 12 hours though, but some weeks I literally get like 15 hours the entire work week.

knowing your livelihood depends on you getting out of bed changes a lot.

Sleep debt is a major cause of depression spirals..

You get tired, therefore depressed, so you do things to medicate..

But then that doesn't fix the problem, so then you become reliant upon the medicine just to coast by..

All the while, having not enough energy to improve oneself, or one's circumstance. (http://emoticoner.com/files/emoticons/onion-head/ghost-onion-head-emoticon.gif?1292862505)

Got my coffee with me, and I'm slumped in front of 3 wonderful screens. This is where I will spend the day.

y'all better be grateful, my body doesn't know a concept like 'sleep debt' or sth like that. and my body is very... unique. i must sleep at the multiplier of 2 hr or else i'll wake up with a very bad headache..

about knowing that you must get up... well i'm on a graduation holiday here. but i still want to keep my sleep cycle so that there's little to none adjustment when my work starts.

slept at 9pm wake up at 5am

is the best
GH,r/mk, facebook, insta, and other kind alike = impossible to sleep at 9am  :))

Woke up at like 6am for the first time in quite a while

I was actually very tired at midnight instead of my "normal" 2am lately...I should get to bed earlier  :-X

Felt great being up that early again. I used to get up at around 5:30 for my workout routine...then I stopped  :-\

It really is as simple as "just do it". Get those feet on the ground! Maybe my alarm should be a drill sergeant yelling at me  :))

I wake up when the alarm goes off or someone wakes me. If neither occur, I just sleep more or less constantly.

I get up at 6am every single day.

On most weekends, however, I roll the **** over and slap the alarm off and promptly go back to dreamland and wake up to my stomach telling me it time to feed.

And that usually around 10 or 11am...

Waking up early requires discipline. Nothing much else to it. Don't hit snooze, get enough sleep. Easy :thumb:

Tea is a stimulant, not a sedative xD . And I'm a chemist, so I don't smoke :p .

Yea but if you keep stimming.. then your natural system is thwarted.. thus keeping you in a chem loop.

Pretty sure it's not that, my whole family are fantastic sleepers, but I'm pretty much the only one who drinks tea (I'm in Britain after all) :P .

Getting up early maximizes your weekend, if you sleep through those precious hours of no-work/school, you're not taking full advantage.

Sleeping more just makes you more tired anyways... ;D

I make up for sleep lost during work days. If you work 13 hours a day, 6 days a week, doing things in your own time quickly pushes it past bedtime xD .

As someone that has no responsibilities and is young, I wish I could wake up at 6am. 11am kinda sucks after a while.

Heh.  Grass is always greener.  :P  Waking up early isn't terrible because you have so much time to get stuff done, but when you wake up that early every day it is nice to sometimes just take a day off.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
