it depends...

There's the really salty smelling type of lime,  which I don't think is very tasty


But then there is the more mild kind, and lean towards lemon,   this type makes a more readily palatable beverage..

Definitely, that said as i mentioned above i definitely enjoy it even more with Vodka :p.....but than again that's most drinks.

Besides just being all around horrible for you HFCS ruins the taste of ANY drink that uses it...tastes like nasty cough syrup...just use real sugar FFS.  Even Mexico has the damn decency to use Sugar in it's CocaCola over HFCS

Limeade is fantastic whether it's made with Persian limes (larger green ones) or key limes (smaller and will turn yellow).  I've got a dwarf key lime tree and love making limeade when it produces enough limes.  Fantastic stuff.

As for bitter, at least with key limes, the trick is to get them right when they start turning yellow.  The more yellow they get, the more bitter they get.

Grape Fruit with Vodka...  Hrrrrrmmm I suppose that's similar to a Gin and Tonic,  both would be mildly bitter fruit-scented alcoholic drinks..


Have not tried it myself.. but it checks out given that Gin and Tonic tastes great..

Uhhh grapefruit, it's like drinking malic acid. The base flavor is nice but that sour tartness is completely overpowering to me. Even with a ton of sugar you can't cover that up.
