over the past few weeks, iv'e been hearing rustling in my garage. naturally, i'd think it was a mouse as we have some mice living in there. natural instinct told me to investigate what it was so i open my door and there is a grey cat sitting on an old carpet near the back. it scared the s**t out of me as i wasn't expecting it. i tried to give it bread as they can apparently eat it but it started to climb up the pile of rubbish at the back. i gave it some room to come out as it was clearly petrified. i managed to get my phone, zoom in on full and get a terrible resolution photo.

it looks like a black ops zombie with the yellow eyes
at this point, it approached me and looked a bit scruffy but very well fed. i think it may be someones cat that comes to my garage or it has been living off the mice and pond water that is next door (there are also fish so it could be a source of food, too). it came up to me and was about 1 foot away from me and it froze and sniffed at me. it ran off into my garden then ran into a hole in the hedge where some cats usually go. since i have seen this cat in my garden before, i went round my area quickly looking for missing cat posters and found none and it is also not wearing a collar. if i see it again, i will put down some cat food for it and if it lets me get close without running off, i might keep feeding it as i can't just let it die...

Mice and rats should die. They're ****ing vermin and should not be suffered to live. They'll sneak up to you at night and eat your face, not even kidding.

mice are borderline vermin that should be put in a blender, they are fine if they are not reeking havoc. rats on the other hand...

UPDATE:
cat was spotted last night and after i heard it meowing loudly for 5 minutes outside my house. might have been a different cat though. I also noticed that the bread i left for it last night is mostly gone with small amounts left. this tells me its hungry because cats normally don't over eat (if it was fed earlier). i have also realized why would it be trying to hide and escape if its someones pet. cats are usually somewhat tame but this cat is clearly scared so i think it may be stray or neglected (been lurking around my house for over a month). i have now put down some cat food to try to get it to eat in front of me so i can see / feel for a microchip.
