How come there arn't any light weight 17 inch laptops..

Would be nice.....  Now that Tp4 getting old... can't see good...

There are some out there, but I believe they're oriented more toward gaming.  EVGA has the SC17 though it's listed at ~$2699.

Lenovo's P70 seems decent, and definitely cheaper.

All the 17 inchers seem to be around 6 to 6.8 lbs with quadcore and discrete gpu..   I'm thinking maybe a dual core 17 inch in the 4lb category..

I've seen those privacy filters.. don't know if they're any good though.
