It's a show most people found tacky color wise, what with the checkerboard and red lines around EVERYTHING. But it holds a place in my heart. It could be done better for sure, but I thought I'd at least see if fans of the show browsed the forums! Any feedback is welcome, but the red lettering has to stay!

Clearly. I just haven't been around long enough to really gauge the IC to completion ratio so I'm kind of just waiting to see, you know, what comes of some of these unique colorways. It seems I'm in the minority here of liking crazy themes and bright colors or whatever.Didn't watch whatever show that is but I'm liking all these bright colorways popping up. On a side note, I didn't see the checkerboard pattern on the side before and can't say I'm a fan of that aspect. But please, dear good, don't change that white number row.

Hmm maybe a color that matches the hair more to replace the white and aqua?
The first one with the yellow was supposed to match the shirt from the main character in the show a bit haha, but the whole show is super loud as far as color goes.
Maybe a single yellow key with a red heart would do just as well.
I do agree that the one you posted is the best out of the group though, So I'll most likely expend from there.

The checker board is just as another nod to the show, it has a ton of board game and card game themes so checker board patterns are everywhere in the show.
Some of the stuff was just me messing around to gauge if people had seen the show haha. But I'm not 100%on the checker board.

Just messing around some more, trying to slim down colors, cept in the yellow one haha!You're getting dangerously close to creating my dream keys. But it your going to do the alternating color function row, maybe include it as a modifier set along with the other white keys that aren't alpha numerical. I like the idea of the darker purple and white with a few yellow accents. Though it might be getting away from your original vision/theme
The very first in this list is my favorite so far.
I have no opinion on profile cuz the only one I have experience with is cherry.
I loved NGNL and really like the idea behind this, but we really have to work on the contrast here. The white numrow is great, the yellow alphas also work out well, but all other colors just seem too similar. I'll give you something concrete later since it is in the middle of the night right now.

Still not a fan of the low contrast mods(especially on the lighter set), also liked the yellow alphas.
Also, is it just me or does the "red" look orange-ish? I'd maybe prefer a deeper red to increase contrast.
Imho the main colors are yellow, purple and white/very light blue, with the red as a accent color that would work in a few combos, just no red text on purple keys please. If it REALLY has to stay Red Text on all keys, one of the few red/purple combos that offer a nice contrast would be scarlet red/indigo, maybe try that for a mockup.
I'll play around with color combos later today, still got other stuff to do first.

Not impossible, but also not too likely, the Author is known for only releasing the beginning of his Light Novels as Anime. That way people will get interested in the story and buy his books. But the chances are not 0, there is a Movie coming out soon that is based on Vol 6 (Story of Tet and the world of Disboard) of the light novel, the anime covered Vol 1-3. There are already 8 Volumes released, but the author was ill for a long time, so maaaybe there will be something coming. I mean NGNL was A LOT more popular then his other stuff. I'd also not blame him if he wants to finish the light novel first before investing time in the next season of the anime, there was over one year of a gap between volume 6 and 7. And Vol 6 does not fit into the timeline of the anime too well. Ah you never know, I hope there will be a new season.

This set will most likely be DSA or SA if there's enough interest, Also the red legends on white / off-white backdrop, so hopefully that's enough of a difference to set it apart.
It gives me even more motivation for red on purple legends for the mods, but most seem to prefer the yellow. I like both equally so it works out for me not matter what.
