Title: Anyone use artisans for function?
Post by: PQStarLord on Wed, 03 August 2016, 04:25:30
I don't know if I'm kidding myself but I recently put normal keycaps back on my keyboard and when pressing F8 (which I do a lot for work) it just feels wrong not having a bbv2 there.

Yeah I like that I can tell where I can due to the different feelings. Hungerkey on Esc, orks on 1-0, mummies on - and + and vandals on [ and ]. It makes a lot faster to find my way.

back in the day when i had a cheap iKBC board at work, i had trans cap on the F12 key, as there was an LED on that specific switch which indicated if i had ctrl/caps switched around or not

I would think escape, THEN functions...?

I don't have any artisans, so I don't.

Funnily enough, as long as I didn't have artisans I had a problem remembering where all the special characters on my keyboard were because I heavily relied on the labels. Now I get there by feel alone.
