Title: Steel Series 6Gv2
Post by: Nukem on Tue, 09 August 2016, 16:28:51
I got my first mechanical keyboard and i had a major disappointment. I thought that i had tried this keyboard in a game center but i think that one is the 7g version of Steel Series.
As far as i remember its keys were more loose and shiny and a bit louder werent they?
My other question is the keys are so hard to push- will it get loose day by day or should i sell this and buy 7G?
Sorry for my bad english by the way.

7g and 6gv2 have the same switches and keycaps, so they will feel and sound very similar.

The key switches will not get loose and yes, they are very hard.

You should sell it and buy something with a lighter switch and better keycaps. The Steelseries keycaps are the worst I know of.

Thanks for your answer. But the game center which i have gone was using the 7g as far as i remember and their switches were more loose. I am going to go that game center tomorrow then i see if i am wrong. Thanks anyways appreciate that!

Try it out. Maybe it's a different version of the 6gv2 because Google just told me, that the 6gv2 is available with cherry blacks and cherry reds, wich are a lot lighter. I don't know about the 7g though.
