Not for me- I'm pretty much set for keyboards. For now. Maybe.
-
Besides, I spent my Topre money on this (http://cgi.ebay.com/Olympus-LS11-LS-11-Digital-Voice-Recorder-Music-NEW_W0QQitemZ300382551742QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item45f031febe). Now, I could record a Topre, if I had one.
-
I take it you're not just going to record conert bootlegs with that, right?
-
Actually, I recommend getting friendly with the engineer on the soundboard. You know, a little alcohol, the drugs of his choice, etc., and getting him to hook an ADAT to the board for you.
-
:suspicious:
lol
-
I want to grab that board! =[ Should I?

Do it.

I like the keyboard because it's got that huge enter key lol. I've always wanted one of those. On top of that, I like the relegendable keys on top.
Also, I've never bought a used keyboard so I can clean it up myself lol. I know it sounds weird but yea, that's what I like to do =P

People THINK it's Brown Cherries. At least it's not ALPS.
I would think it's Brown Cherries. Why wouldn't they be?
-
Why would they? Really, it could be any MX switch. It just so happens that the one or two that were bought by members before are browns, but there is nothing in the part number to say for sure nor do we have enough samples to say that specific model number always has browns.
-
Who ended up buying it? I'll probably try to snag the next one if they list another.
-
The MX8100 with USB plug (regular enter key and regular backspace) which is black colored is cherry browns. I don't know what switch this one has.
-
according to the geekhack wiki, Cherry MX switches are the most common type of Cherry keyboard switch and are 4mm travel, rated at 50 or 20 million operations. The G80 range of Cherry keyboards have MX switches.
-
He probably meant he didn't know what color switch was in the 'board. Without the seller pulling a cap, it's hard to be sure.

my bad!
-
I'm getting one too, for the caps alone.
The code suggests blacks.

black switches?

black switches?
Yeah. I'll report when I get and dissect mine. I may want to dump the extra switches, as I like a standard-104 layout and blues
-
IIRC it's Cherry Browns with single shot key caps, only useful for harvesting switches.
