Title: Hey! Pretty new to this

Lately i have been getting into the mechanical keyboard community and I finally decided to join this site. I am part of r/mechanicalkeyboards (not sure everyones opinion on them here) but I have heard a lot about this site. Being new to the scene I only have a razer blackwidow TE in which I got cheap from a friend. I know it is a pretty bad board but it at least has cherry mx blue and I got some blank ABS keycaps from WASDkeyboards (only place that had the 6.0u spacebar). Currently have my eye on a FC660m but not too sure about the keycap compatibility with the modifiers. Any opinions??

New to this forum stuff so the layout is kinda confusing right now....

I have an FC660M with clears and I love it. It's probably the only row-staggered keyboard I like. I have never had a problem finding keysets. But I'm an Ergodox guy so my standards of keycap compatibility are pretty low.

Don't worry about what anyone thinks of your board. If you like the Razer, stick with it. ****, put a little Razer pixelated thing in your signature just to razz people.

Hey.
The Blackwidow with MX Blues is not that bad. It's the Blackwidow with Razer switches which is messed up.

Welcome to Geekhack!

Although a lot of people have found quality issues with various Razer keyboards, some people have used them for years without issues.

The FC660M is mostly a standard layout, but needs two left Shift keys (as the right Shift is the same size as the left Shift instead of being much wider).  The left Windows key (is it?) also seems to be 1x instead of 1.25x.
