Title: New to Site / Mechanical Keyboard

Hey,
So I recently got interested in circuitry and Mechanical keyboards, and had a friend (MrBishop) help me create a custom Ergodox keyboard. He also told me about this site and I thought I would join and check it out. I am interested in doing another PCB build but not really sure what size I want to go with yet.
So now I am looking to get a set of keys for the keyboard and had some questions about the key sizes for the Ergodox modifiers. As this keyboard is not backlight I don't need any crazy keycaps but I would like a matching set without breaking the bank.
I know there are 1, 1.25, 1.5 1.75 and 2+ keys but I cannot really tell the difference looking at them blank spacing or pictures of Ergodox builds on the internet. I wanted to ask if anyone knew the exact sizes for all of the modifiers so I can create a custom set. Also if anyone has an old set of keycaps just collecting dust I wouldn't be opposed to buying second hand keys.
I will try and keep up with this post, but I and pretty bad at keeping up with forums.
