Hello Geekhack!
After lurking around the mechkeyb-related web for more time than was necessary, I decided to take a long-overdue perch on this particular site.
I study linguistics and information sciences in my free time, and computer science and education at university. This looks like a good place to slowly begin letting out all the little questions I've gathered about input methods.
It's been a while since I've participated in a forum, so hopefully I don't make a five-year necropost by accident :-X
This looks like a decently well-populated board. Good on ya.

This is a great place to talk about all sorts of input devices - there's a whole section (https://geekhack.org/index.php?board=71.0) for non-keyboard-related threads, and o course keyboards (https://geekhack.org/index.php?board=31.0).
Things have been quiet around here recently, possibly due to the lack of artisan sales, and also external factors like Pokemon GO, but things can get pretty lively from time to time.
