See, this is why we need Terminators.

Pretty much. They are designed for accelerated growth through the consumption of silicate, which is basically rocks/metal/sand.
They don't eat the people, just instinctively kill them.

What are they making the acid from..
That requires amino acids.. where are they getting that.
PLEASE tell me you're not into the whole AvP crossover thing, it's an abomination D: .

I'd consider Alien–Alien: Resurrection canon, although the first two are head and shoulders the best ones. I like all four though. I really like both Predator and Predator 2. The crossover filmsPLEASE tell me you're not into the whole AvP crossover thing, it's an abomination D: .
I mean, the later Alien movies were borderline B-movies... so...... I wouldn't say AvP is so terrible a spin on things..Show Image(http://emoticoner.com/files/emoticons/onion-head/embarrassed2-onion-head-emoticon.gif?1292862502)
I don't read DC or Marvel or whoever :p . I really don't like the idea of the crossover though, it feels like a cheap retcon to me. The Alien series is set in the future, and is about dark, confined, completely isolated places in space, where the humans are the sci-fi guys. The Predator series happens in the present, on Earth, in large, open, sprawling locations, and the predator is the sci-fi guy. To me, the series are virtually orthogonal, even if they're both sci-fi action film series. The fact that they're so different is what set them apart from each other, and I LIKE the fact they're different. The crossover, to me, feels like it's overstaying its welcome. Moreover, they keep CHANGING the way the aliens and the predators work (furthering the retcon feeling), and that really pisses me off D: .PLEASE tell me you're not into the whole AvP crossover thing, it's an abomination D: .
Have you even read the Dark Horse comics?
And I don't see how it's an abomination, the crossover makes absolute logical sense. The films aren't amazing, but the universe they built around AVP is.

yep. job done. first reply.
why would we wanna risk putting ourselves in harms way. get bots to deal with that infestation.
or better yet... some nanotech that selectively nom on the aliens. the faster the aliens plop n grow, the faster the nanites nom n multiply n nom n multiply n nom.
maybe some biotech involved, not as a means to breed more human soldier meat, but to immunise us against being used as incubators for em. (or maybe just do that with nanotech too, idk).
is anyone working on an AvT? i'd watch that. ^_^
lets just hope the aliens dont manage to incubate in a t1000, or we're all screwed.
Anyone remember this old internet gem? I'd still love to see at least a Batman VS Predator film, as the first comic series is stellar.
