Hi,
So if I understand things correctly, it isn't mandatory to have a PCB to make a custom keyboard.
One could take switches, a controller and solder wires between them.
Put the switches in a homemade plate to hold them in the right position.
Am I right, is there a builder's guide, or someone who documented this process for his kb building ?
I suppose most people consider this prototyping and not real kb building...
Thanks

There are several links in the sticky for hand-wiring guides. Is that what you're looking for?

Good point I should browse through the Sticky and the FAQ.
I didn't notice them.
Thanks
