Great review. Very jealous you have a key for one of the locks...

I also enjoyed the sound comparison between vintage blacks and nixxies. At least, the nixdorf switches are bit more consistent than your average "vintage" mx black switch...

If that really is built in security it's going to take some work to get it working which is a shame - it looks and sounds great, and those keycaps look really comfy to use.

How does the weight of the Nixdorf switches compare to that of vintage Cherry mx black and contemporary Cherry mx black switches?

I didn't find them massively different. In all honesty, I'm not sure how different these really are from vintage MX black. Of course, I onlt had these few switches to test it out with.
