Hey guys,
I've recently ordered the vortex pok3r and it should be arriving soon. It's the first time i'm trying PBT caps and I was wondering what you guys think about the stock PBT caps. Are the stock PBT caps really good or are they somewhat mediocre? If the stock caps aren't that good I might buy a set of double shot PBT caps, I heard those ones feel and type lovely.
Advise would be greatly appreciated!

Mine is white and I like the caps a lot. Some folks have had problems with the markings "fading" but I haven't seen that. The caps have a nice feel & sound when typing and I've never bothered to change them even though I have other cap sets here I could use.

Good to hear! What kind of switches do you have in yours?

They are good quality, but sadly they come in OEM profile ... Cherry profile is love, Cherry profile is life.

I have literally no clue what that means ^.^ Would you mind explaining me what it is and what the biggest differences are?

The profile describes how the keycaps are shaped.
In this picture you can see different profiles:

Thanks for the explanation!

Legends on the white ones don't fade because it's black on white and doesn't need infil. Way less problematic than white on black.

Didn't even know that! Fortunately, I ordered the white version so I won't have any trouble regarding legends I guess.

You'll probably end up getting some other keycaps eventually anyway.
If you want to start cheap, try some Tai Hao. They make PBT and ABS, but if you get PBT try to get them withOUT the antibiotic coating.

That looks sick! Sorry for all the questions but do you happen to know where I can get those keycaps and get them shipped to Europe as well? I am a complete newcomer when it comes to mechanical keyboards.

Granite was run in several different rounds over the past couple of years, but like all group buys, you had to be there to get in on them. I don't think there are any plans to run more rounds of it. You'd have to pick up a set from someone selling theirs (which is what I had to do to acquire my first Granite set).
The best place to look for someone selling their keycaps is in the Marketplace section.

Granite is going to be available in PMK soon. Checkout their website and subscribe to granite :)
