I just got my first mechanical keyboard, a Ducky Shine 5, yesterday. As the title says, it has Cherry MX blue switches. Some of the keys on it, maybe around 60%, rattle when depressed slowly. Is this normal? While I'm here, some of the keys on it are a lot stiffer than others. Is that normal? Or is there a break in period? Thank's for any help!

The rattling is normal, it's to the way Cherry implemented the clicky mechanism. It's a plastic jacket that's fired down when you press a key, but there's nothing to prevent it from bouncing around, so it gives a kind of grainy, rattly sound.

Chyros is correct, MX Blues are rattly by nature.
The stiffness is normal too. They will all feel about the same after some use.
The only MX based clicky switch I know of that doesn't rattle are those Aristotles as they're designed slightly differently.
