Hello,
I'm looking for my first mechanical keyboard. It's hard to get a good keyboard in Ukraine, so I have only 2 options:
- CM Storm Quick Fire Stealth(Cherry Mx Blue) link (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/CM-Storm-Cooler-Master-Quick-Fire-87-Side-Printed-USB-PS-2-ABS-Keycaps-Cherry-MX/32616160067.html?spm=2114.01010208.3.1.SchnkR&ws_ab_test=searchweb201556_0,searchweb201602_2_10057_10056_10065_10068_10055_10054_10069_10059_10058_10073_10017_10070_10060_10061_10052_10062_10053_10050_10051,searchweb201603_1&btsid=0719a9c3-c78a-4ab3-9f59-af4af0f9b8cd)
- IKBC POKER MINI 60% (Cherry Mx Blue) link (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/IKBC-POKERII-60-compact-poker2-mini-mechanical-keyboard-poker-II-cherry-mx-switch-gaming-keyboard-PBT/2043845811.html?spm=2114.01010208.3.350.R08ghZ&ws_ab_test=searchweb201556_0,searchweb201602_2_10057_10056_10065_10068_10055_10054_10069_10059_10058_10073_10017_10070_10060_10061_10052_10062_10053_10050_10051,searchweb201603_1&btsid=3f49df5d-24b2-4700-bc82-fe14fd287a68)
What version of poker is that?
Any suggestion which one to choose? Is it hard to get used to 60% layout? Keyboard will be used for programming mostly.
Atm I'm using semi-mechanical old Clicker keyboard
Looking for advice

The question of TKL or 60% isn't one that we can easily advise you on. I don't find 60%s hard to use, but I also found that I prefer having both my arrow cluster and my 10-key not hidden under a function layer. It took me building 5 keyboards to find out *exactly* what I like.
I think the only question is how do you think you will feel about using function layers, and what that means practically for what key you will use, and how much is going to be accessed and how often.
If I recall, the poker will have some programmability but the CM keyboard would require a controller swap to gain full control. But my info on this is ancient. Things might have changed.

The programmer at my work uses a tenkeyless keyboard. I think for him he use home, end, pause/break quite a bit.
But yeah like Spopepro said you have to figure out what keys you use the most and if it's worth the trouble of using FN keys.
For me I use full size because I type numbers a lot, typing directly on a keys will ALWAYS be faster than using FN layers. That and Poker's FN layer button is in an area that's hard to reach.
Personally I think Quick Fire Stealth is the safer choice. :thumb:

Thanks for advice guys. I've already chosen QFS after realized I use arrow keys often.
But I guess I want to try 60% keyboard once, maybe as my next one :)

If you can find one where you are, the magicforce 68 is very close to a 60% and has arrow keys. It's relatively inexpensive as well, $40 usd for the non backlit version here in the States. Enjoy your QFS mate !
