Title: Worth saving?
Post by: ac2ev on Mon, 26 September 2016, 17:33:58
I picked this up at the hamfest this weekend because it's got a sweet keyboard. It's also got a green CRT so if I ever want to pretend I'm hackerman then I could. The device is a frequency analyzer for mics and speakers built around 1985.

But I digress. Are the key caps, board got for anything else? Besides that Big a-- space bar.

This was free. I passed on the 1992 model M that was $50. I don't need another one.

Whoa, the times have certainly changed since that puppy was produced.

Interesting find. Looks like someone went to great aggressive lengths to see that the switches weren't removed when the user cleared crumbs from under the keycaps.

Spacebar is not long enough.  ;)
