Title: Topre highest weight
Post by: TheInverseKey on Wed, 28 September 2016, 16:49:05: I was wondering what keyboard with Topre has the highest weight for actuation is and also a TKL.

Post by: Puddsy on Thu, 29 September 2016, 11:20:26: Topre only goes up to 55g. Unlike MX, which has a tendency to go up in weight as you go rarer, Topre tends to go down. The lowest Topre weight is 30g.

However, Topre is also very inconsistent, so theoretically you could make a 60g sheet out of the heavier domes from 55g sheets.

If so, you could theoretically collect all the domes a little over 55g and make a 58g or whatever keyboard.

I should've just said the variable, which I happen to have. The variable silent isn't available anymore. I also have the 87U 55g. It's a great keyboard, but I hardly ever use it. Too stiff for all day use.
