This is actually super dangerous,  even the power cable went limp noodle, warm and soft.  The transformer also got warm in only the 2 seconds of power.

Absolutely. In a similar adventure, I once lit some carpet on fire once wiring up a buck circuit.

Question guys..

I know switching power supplies can't be used in parallel unless it has the special detection circuits...

Was wondering,  Can linear power supplies be used in parallel ?
