I am not sure what exactly you mean. If you got the SMDs with the SMD compatible switch...why would you want to add the in switch LED + sip?
SMD's are soldered to the PCB flat (i.e. GON has SMD pads on the front of the board so that you can have SMD shine instead of the in switch LED).
If you want do SIP sockets, just get the back bottom gaterons instead of the SMD compatible gaterons.
