Title: Where to get LED's
Post by: garage_logician on Thu, 06 October 2016, 11:08:58
I have finally received my ErgoDox kit and was hoping to assemble it this weekend, problem is that I do not have any LED's.  I thought I would be able to get them from Amazon and have them overnighted but I am getting delivery dates in mid-november!   Can anyone recommend a place where I can get LED's (I tried Digi-Key but you need to be an EE to traverse their catalog)?  I am in Mpls, if there is someplace local where I could just go pick them up, that would be a bonus!   I don't even know where to begin....

I could just kick myself, 4 months to get the ErgoDox and here I am at the last minute trying to find LED's....

Are these guys local to you? http://electronicpartsandequipment.com/leds/
Or perhaps there's a radio shack nearby.

I get mine on AliExpress. They ship from China so delivery is about 30 days. Can't beat the price though.

If you can't wait that long you should be able to get some off Mouser or Digikey.

Enter the manufacturer and part number in the digi-key search box.
