Being a lurking GHer for sometime, I am not sure how this IC would turn out, but I am going to try anyway.
I recently made and posted a wood case / wrist rest combo for the Planck keyboard:
Soon after I got some questions about making some more not only for Planck but also for keyboard of other forms, like 60%.
Not having many different keyboards I will have to buy some keyboards before making cases for them. And I need to understand what is the most required form factor so that I can put priorities to my to-do list.
Thus if you are interested in the case, and would like to support my development of more new keyboard cases, Please take the survey below and share your thoughts.

FYI besides the Transformer Case I also built the following:

Thank you very much for reading.

It reminds me of this mod:
Your design is thick enough to hide a bluetooth module and a good battery inside.
-
yeah i built this one, too ;D
what you just described is one of my active projects now :)

Dang... Cool..! :thumb:

Definitely interesting, I think you'd get more orders if you did both a planck and a 60% version.
-
thank you very much for the feedback!
with enough interests i would be able to invest on the tools needed for making more cases in shorter time, and also the keyboards required to test fit the cases.
i have been making cases with limited tools (no CNC). what i have today probably isn't enough to start builds across too many sizes so i need to focus on only a few of them.
-
Apparently the case doesn't gain enough interest so I will keep making it without a CNC.
It is interesting to see that there are quite some interests on getting a 60% version of it. i will start prototyping and see how it goes.
Thank you all for your feedback and interests. I will not be mass producing the case but can help building one if there is a need ( i am actually selling one at reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/mechmarket/comments/58hv0u/usidh_the_transformer_planck_case_combo_w_pp/).
simply PM me and we can work on the details.
Thanks again,
Justin

Ah shucks. Loved your video on redidit but didn't find this thread until just now.
I love the 60% idea! If it ever goes to a group buy, I'm so friggin in.
Regardless, I'll be watching what happens in here. Keep up the good work :thumb:

thank you very much for the kind words! i am encouraged :)
i will be working on 60% Transformer Case, but unless there is a good size of interests there is not likely to be a group buy. having said that, i will keep working for commissions so if someone like to have this case built, i will be more than happy to hand make for them.
anyway, stay tuned and 60% Transformer Case is on its way :p

just to update this thread that the 60% Transformer Case is out :D
