I think my heart rate spiked seeing that... :-\

Firstly, expected a mouse spider(which I've caught on the beach).
Secondly, huntsman are best pest control :)
-
OMG..
That is a pretty powerful spider..
Did it killz0r the mouse, or scavenge a dead mouse.
-
Anecdotal evidence does not indicate how, exactly, the mouse met its fate.
Yes, huntsman spiders are big bastards.
Excuse me while I check the walls and ceilings now ...
-
It's amazing it still clings to the walls with the weighs of a whole mouse on it Oo .
Also this is terrifying, you Aussies really ought to cut down on the spoidahs a bit D: .
-
I've done my bit, but for every one that is, say, re-homed, there are 1000 more waiting to take its place.
I guess the snakes were too busy this time ...

Always a problem with demolition is when it forces the unseen inhabitants to move into new digs nearby ....

Expected to see this... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Goliath_birdeater I used to be able to order just about anything I wanted while working at a pet store in high school, this was one of several shock-value purchases. Thing was a ****ing monster. It's fangs were over an inch long, easily.
Yours is still pretty big, though.
