Title: Possibly dumb Originative hyperfuse question
Post by: tjcaustin on Sat, 29 October 2016, 17:05:10
Does it come with everything?  Like for full size, 1800 layout, hhkb, wkl and ISO?

The description and mention of 139 keys seems to say so, but my google-fu is lacking so I couldn't find hard evidence of someone who'd gotten a set from originative.

I'll probably buy it if I can find out if it has support for 1800 (fc980c) and hhkb included asap.

Pretty sure its the same set from the group buy. It does not have a R1 |\ key though so you will need something else there for HHKB layout. Has r3 control and the r2 backspace though

The list on the site is just a breakdown. I would assume that it comes with everything on the list based on the lack of a dropdown for kit types (and the enormous price tag). Might be worth shooting them an email.

I ordered the black/black dyesubs the other day and it just came with everything, no need to pick the extra keys as a kit.

That's fine.  I can use the ISO \ if I really want.

Thanks for the help errone.

Mod: Time to post means time to approve buy posts in classifieds.  Just sayin'

It's a bit scary to read the comments under the GMK Hyperfuse set on the Originative website:

A few stated that their keys are damaged or badly scratched and Originative cannot offer replacement. Obviously they should not sell keys if they're in such condition. I'm now a bit skeptical if I should order on that website, especially for the leftover of GB for this GMK Hyperfuse set.

That's just happens to GMK in shipping.

Sort of unfortunate, but you'll never notice it when the keys are on your keyboard.
