Title: Leopold fc660c
Post by: lanox on Mon, 31 October 2016, 17:47:03
Hi All

Just got my self Leopold fc660c and I like it but not as much as I love my RF 55g, just out of curiosity on my leo enter/shift/backspace, they seem to sound little different to my RF but they also sound little different to other keys on leo such as q/w/e/r/t/y. Is that normal ?

Thanks.

Normal Topre stuff, lots of sound variation due to PBT shrinkage

Also, larger keys naturally make a different sound anyway.

It's probably nothing to worry about.

I actually have RF "silenced" purple sliders in the mod keys of my FC660C because i love the alpha sound but the clink on the backspace and shifts wasn't as satisfying as my HHKB or my RF87U.

How was your fc660c?

The one my friend got had 30g domes on r4 :( but the overall build of the keyboard was great.

I haven't tried comparing it next to an RF or hhkb. Hope I could have a chance to do that on a local mech keyboard meet. :)
