Hi,
I have fallen down the rabbit hole... 2 weeks ago all I knew was "I don't like my loud and huge keyboard". Now I'm looking at custom keyboard building guides and layouts for a 61.25% layout... One of my buddies at works knows a lot about keyboards, and has some cool decks and sets, and he's guided me a bit, which is pretty awesome. I'm typing on his poker3 he lent me for the second day right now. The reason I'm obsessing over this keyboard, is because I'm obsessing over my desk... which I have concluded I need to custom build. And to know what size it needs to be (I need to maximize space) I need to know what's going on it. I have a HOTAS, mouse, and keyboard. But the most compact and functional keyboard I can find is ideal.
So, thanks for having me as part of your community. I've read a bit in here so far, and googled lots of questions and stuff (clackys, etc). lets have fun!

I had a Pok3r for a while in Browns, and I loved it! One of my favorite boards ever!

I have learned (from removing keys) I need the left unit of right shift for ?s (unless I program [up arrow] + / to be "[down arrow] ?"), and none of the other right modifiers. Plans to jump into the rabbit hole continue...

I started with some filco TKL, then got the CODE keyboard. had a KBC race (75%) and a few other stock boards. Eventually sold them all off and bought some customs, and then my collection kept growing. I've got a keyboard in nearly every form factor but prefer, 65-75% with 1.5 modifiers, short left shift, and nested arrows.
I'm about $5,000 in after a few years, some of that has been recouped by selling stuff.
