Title: Problems with the ducky shine 5
Post by: ChowserJr on Sun, 06 November 2016, 21:52:58
I'm having some problems with my ducky shine 5 keyboard. it is getting power and seems to be working fine but none of the keys work. although some times 7 works, some times the odd numbers work and sometimes only every second key works. the firmware updater keeps crashing and i have tried rebooting my computer a billion times.i also have tried pluging it in on multiple different computers and usb ports. this is a fairly new keyboard (4 weeks) and i would be kinda ticked off if it didn't work. Please help thank you!

mmm...  check the usb port on the keyboard (not the pc),  give it a light jiggle, see if there's a change in behavior during/ after jiggling..

Try a different usb cord..  don't use the cord slots for now .

if not..  just rma..

It's not worth troubleshooting , my guess is if not the port,   then a few legs of the controller chip must be cold-joints
