Simple question: what the **** are G-keys?!

If you are referring to Logitech's keyboards are keys which you can launch macros from.

Theres also like 30 of them on the K-95

Maybe we can call the extra keys on the GH122 (and other large projects) "H" keys. It's got F keys, you can call the ones on the left "G" keys and it has a G and H in the name so H keys must come next!
