Title: Code Keyboard - Media Key Repeat on Linux?
Post by: nimrod01 on Fri, 18 November 2016, 12:12:09
I'm having an issue with the media keys on my Code keyboard (V2B).  When I hold fn+vol-up or down it only registers once.  I think this is specific to Linux. As it seems to work when I'm plugging into the Mac.  But I'm not ready to blame Linux completely just yet.  The media keys on my CM QFRi do repeat properly.

Anyone know what might be going on here?

I'll just add that if I use xev to watch the events, I only get a single event (the keydown) until I release.  Which is quite different than holding down other keys (even with fn) which do repeat.

Thanks.

Mine is a WASD v2, not a Code, but I would think similar controller programming. My volume keys repeat here in Ubuntu 16.04.

Gave a USB live image of Ubuntu 16.10 a shot, and no key repeat there.

Anyways, I don't think its the keyboard. It works on Mac and Windows.  Seems to be a Linux thing.
