Title: Looking to lube Ducky Shine 2 MX Blue switches w/o desoldering
Post by: nsix on Sun, 20 November 2016, 15:34:34
I have spilled some liquid onto my Ducky Shine DK9008S and am looking to clean it up as the switches feel "gummy". They aren't as loud and require more force to press.

I have been looking at the guides around here and everyone is dissembling their switches. Unfortunately I have PCB mounted switches and am not interested in desoldering.

If I can get away with removing the key caps, pressing down on the switch and dropping oil down both sides of the switch and calling it a day I'm down for that. I'm just unsure of what lube to use.

Suggestions?

What you suggest won't fix your problem and will likely make it worse.
