Title: Hello from the Bay!
Post by: n8sortagr8 on Thu, 24 November 2016, 15:36:41
Hey guys,

I'm a long time lurker of both r/mk and geekhack, but i am looking to participate more frequently. I am 17 years old but privileged to have a father who sent me down the right path when I first started using computers heavily.
ATM I only have a broken QuickFire Rapid to my name (Just gotta replace a switch. currently on a slow boat from china), I also have most of the components to a planck which i plan on building around Christmas when my gateron browns finally get here from the last massdrop group buy. So I am using an extra monoprice keyboard we have laying around, i'm okay with it, but not a fan of the blues.

I am also looking to participate heavily in the artisan community. Currently creating some software to help with raffle buys:)
Hopefully in the future I will also be producing my own artisan products.

Welcome :)

Any reason you purchased a single switch from China instead of here?
Unless I read that wrong :p

Because I'm a relatively poor high school student and I was able to find a pack of 8 switches (I think) for like 2 dollars :)
