Title: Looking for Japan GH'ers to help find a Japanese product ($$TIP)
Post by: redbanshee on Mon, 28 November 2016, 11:58:20
Hi! I am looking for someone in Japan to help me track down a XRGB-mini Framemeister (http://www.micomsoft.co.jp/xrgb-mini.htm) proxy and send to me, I tried some suggestions of sites from Apolotary to search and had little luck finding one on the .jp sites. Its a HDMI up-scaler for hooking up old game systems. There are some listed on american ebay for $600+ which is absolutely ridiculous, it should be more around the $300 mark.

There is a pre-sale going on here: https://solarisjapan.com/products/xrgb-mini-framemeister-compact-up-scaler-unit
but I was hoping to either find a used one for less or a new one in the correct price range before I have to wait 3 months for the pre-sale.

Offering $40 tip for someone to help and proxy for me!  :thumb:

I just sold my xrgb 2+ and xrgb3  but I have to hang on to the mini as it's the most useful for me.

Good luck! did you try any other forums (shmups, arcade-projects, neogeo) ?

From what ive read the Framemeister is around 0.3 frames of lag compared to 4 frames on most other converters. So, yes it still lags but much much less then a $40 converter off newegg.
