I'll leave a full size or TKL keyboard at work (but that is usually provided to me by the IT department). If that keyboard from my collection and is expensive, I may want to lock my keyboard in my drawer or closet after work, despite this practice may make me look like a weirdo in the eyes of my colleagues.
When I'm on the road, I am most of the time with my ThinkPad and I'm happy with its keyboard. However, if I found I may miss a newly favorite keyboard, I may still take it with me in a sleeve, but that's at most a 60% or 65%, not any bigger. If I am traveling I think a 40% + iPad can be a lovely mobile setup.
