Dang.. How are they gonna follow that...

The whole tone of the show is built on a --mystery theme--...

Now after the Big- Reveal.. They 're going to have to turn it into a completely different genre..

We'll see in 2018. It's going to be hard to live up to that first season, but I'm really interested in the tone that they take. It's obviously going to be very different in how it moves forward with the story.

I really, really love this final episode. SO much beautiful story telling pulling the whole season together nicely while still leaving an open ending for the next season.. and that final scene after the credits, oh my :D

It is a really good show, they wont of course but its one of those things that could just be finalised after season one without complete answers given.

The robot ***** gets out of the west world place and into the real world, leave it at that without further explanation

otherwise I think they will **** the series before too long. They will try to carry on the mystery and before you know it, you have another Lost or Prison Break

The original movie had medieval world and romeworld sequels so it's safe to assume next season or the one after will have another "world". We saw feudal japan stuff in the end and the logo was SW so maybe Samurai World?

I don't think it was really Ford who got shot by Dolores, he was acting real funny the whole episode. Not quite like himself.

... possibly.. he has converted himself to data.. and uploaded via that lazerlink to outer space satellites..

The followup is a problem imho, because what stops these machines from learning programming, and crippling the world due to their superior interface capacity with --other machines--..

So to do the machine uprising from this perspective, given how technologically advanced and dependent that future seems..

THEN , we could only imagine the drama unfolding WITHOUT the machines ever learning to do some obvious things..

That would just be silly..

I've tried to watch lost.. I can't get past the 4th episode..

Same with the godfather movies, can't get past the first 30 minutes...

I regret the time lost watching LOST :-X The problem with the shows is that they don't know when it's time to stop, they keep dragging and milking the cow to the last drop ... in the end you hate the whole damn thing ...

It depends on the next season really, if they can pull it off with the same quality as the first, I think they will be fine.

They have something like 5 seasons planned? I would hope that they keep to that plan and just have 5, even if it's a great show.

Great shows can still out stay their welcome and start devolving.

That's how I feel about game of thrones..... I only watch the scenes with the little guy in it, because he always has a witty line.. other than that.. I skip everything involving every other character.. don't even watch the cgi dragon scenes anymore.. it's pointless, and they don't use the dragon properly.

I actually enjoy GoT a lot, but I am glad that they are shortening the last two seasons.

I haven't been disappointed personally by any GoT seasons as a whole, so far.

Westworld is boring.

I am, however, happy I stuck it out through the whole season as I thought the last 3 episodes made it worth it.

Give it a shot. Try not to be too tp4-lvl-critical.

To add to my previous post. I really do hope Ford is alive, according to imdb he is signed for the second season but still, you never know.

The role of Ford was a perfect fit, probably the greatest thing in the show is his performance if you don't count the soundtrack and production value.

This scene probably was what sold the show for me.
