Hey guys
So I just silenced my NT with hypersphere topre rings. I also lubed all my stablizers and lubed the topre stems.
All the keys sound and feel GREAT but... the spacebar is still the loudest. It makes a clack on the way down and on the way up..I was thinking of adding one or two more rings to make it "thicker" but not sure if there would be any other way.
Also thumbs up to the rings! They make the board feel like a brand new keyboard

Hey, I had the same problem with my novatouch. I used thick O-rings on my spacebar to help reduce the sound.

$70 for silencing rings? are f**king serious right now

The Authentic Topre Experience™ is only for those who can afford it. The board is $200, extra silencing is $70, $20 for a plain black spacebar in PBT. If you want MX compatibility? Gotta buy some sliders. Getting just an escape key is $4.50.

Stock O-rings from Novatouch should help reduce spacebar noise. Removing the spring may help as well. Currently using those two methods right now and the noise is roughly the same as the other keys.
Spacebar height will also increase if you are not into that sort of thing though.

Oh I know. I've probably dumped upwards of $2000 on Topre boards over the years. But still, $70 for those materials seems a bit excessive.
