Title: Vortex G104
Post by: Entropia on Fri, 09 December 2016, 15:43:10
Do you know if this keyboard has already been released. Any one has tried it? Any reviews? It's full size and looks interesting (Filco style). The good news is that is sold in Europe and that it comes with PBT keycaps.

It looks to me like yet another Costar-OEM'd 104 key board. I'm sure it's quite good, but not phenomenally better than any of the other similar Costar boards.

Isn't this keyboard the same as the IKBC G104? I've found a review and it looks like it has Cherry stabs. Shouldn't they be Costar, as with Filcos?

isn't Vortex and iKBC the same company? (as I have heard somewhere)

I once owned an iKBC G104 and yes, it use Cherry stabs.

One thing that looks very interesting in this keyboard (apart from its price) is the fact that it can be ordered with MX clears, which are very appreciated switches for typing, for what I've heard.
