I always thought it was the content and not the label.
Explanation: ****butt SOUNDS dirty, but the meme itself is one of unexpectedness. It is about ****butt being where you least expect him to be, and not at all about his title or that he has genitals hanging out of his ass. ****butt shows up at an unexpected moment and makes you laugh, that is his purpose.
