This very good news. My KBP V60 mini won't be a paperweight anymore.

If that image is supposed to suggest that the modifiers will have translucent legends to allow backlighting to shine through, I am hoping that conventional versions will also be available for those of us without backlighting in our boards.

I didn't think about that when I saw the image initially, but I suppose there is a bit of glow to the novelty legend.  I hope that's not the case, and if it is, non-translucent legends are available.  I did notice that the base color is a dark blue and not black.  Maybe there was a color change to make the colorway more unique (less similar to sky dolch?)

Guess we'll see soon :)

I've always imagined that the perfect Tron-themed set would be backlit like a Logitech Orion keyboard but, unlike the Orion key set, it would be designed by someone with a sense of style and class.  But, making a set that depends on backlighting seems like it would limit the appeal of the set to a smaller market.  If the set depends on backlighting to provide that signature blue color, the theme will be lost on boards that aren't backlit.  My guess is that this a colorway variant.  It's too soon to determine if it is even indicative of the next version's colorway.  Another point of speculation is the date on the reddit thread.  It seems to indicate that he plans to support ISO formats again.
