Preh GTB 11 Keyboard
Link to product (http://www.prehkeytec.com/413.html?&L=1#c3274)

I'd not mind one of these myself, but they aren't listing these anywhere that isn't reseller-only.

I could see that being useful in industrial applications. Some folks are already doing things like that for push-button controls as well. Wireless, at that.

Speaking of Preh: Does anybody know what kind of switches they use in their POS boards?

Reminds me of my Das days.

I'd just get an iPad and use iTap. (http://itap.mobi/itap)  The app turns your Touch/iPhone into a keyboard.

No thanks, there are better uses for an IPS panel than the iPad.  That, and I don't want to have to break my product to use it.  Secondly, if I wanted to do double purchases for a product(hardware and the unbundled software), I'd buy a Cisco router.

Good question, as some of their stuff looks like a cross between the Cherry RC128 and my G86-63410.  Stumbled into the boards when I was looking in the Point-of-Sale section.

Preh POS boards pop up on German ebay all the time. That's why I assumed a) they're well known and b) they probably suck so badly that nobody cares to mention them.

Hmmm, this thing has the same tactility of those laser keyboards... The only difference being that you'd get a different sound.

Also wouldn't want to use one where they use fingerprint door locks.

It reminds me of that awful Lebedev concept keyboard.

Only this is quite uglyer and doesnt have the only thing that would make such a keyboard really useful -- a display.

I think I researched that once and they were rubber domes.
