This is our second attempt to create a keycap set. It may odd in many ways and you may wonder why we made this odd design.

We want to set foot on a different path from the mainstream, ‘cause it motivates us to think outside the box. It may good, it may bad but its something different.

We were inspired from the number 7 derived from the year 2017, and 777 is also a lucky number. The keyset was also inspired from the slot machine which can possibly bring you luck in this new year. With the sounds of 'kaching!' and a feeling of satisfaction from the clicks and clacks, it *may* make you the luckiest man alive, who knows!?

This is just a prototype for design, so we haven’t decided which profile to make this set in yet. What do you think about the keycap set?

this is pretty cheeky, I like it. To be honest though, its a very novelty set, so I feel like you could afford to go with more wild colors. The basic color scheme feels kinda out of place on such an eccentric set, and to be honest I could make most of this my self out of like two kits of round 6. Would be pretty cool in more casino-y feeling colors though!

Thanks! We aim it to be more of a novelty kind of keyset. The colours may affect the cost quite a bit and also the manufacturing of the keycaps since we are not sure what profile we should go for in this set, but surely, a bit more variety in colour would be interesting! We chose the most basic colours that would be related to a slotmachine as a base, I'm sure with enough interest, and cool creative ideas from GH, addon casino colours would be awesome  :D :D ;D ;D ;D

Another idea is because you've gone basic enough with the other colors, you could have a couple different color options for the 7's and arrow keys that are red right now and see what people like. Either way the design is pretty cool on its own.

Is the heart with the stick on top that looks like a spade meant to be a spade?  If so, was it meant to be upside down?
Also rather than just the 7 in the numpad be a one off color, perhaps you could consider 1, 5, 7, 8, 9 since you're heading that direction with the alphas.

honestly think the is way to niche. I'm not a fan of it. I'm not sure if you ever ran it but I would love to see that Starry night keyset you guys [IC]ed to get a GB going.

Thinking outside the box and breaking away from mainstream ideas is great. However breaking too far out from the normality is not too great idea.

The keyset looks too busy imho. A lot going on which doesn't make the set design cohesive.

I do! I've loved that symbol since I was very young. I just hope these will be in Cherry profile ;D
