Title: How do I bridge a malfunctioning pcb pin spot to another properly?

The pin spots on a pcb I own are shot in the "P" key spot. Where would I bridge the P key pins to so that they register a P input again? Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

That would depend where the designer connected it to!

Post a pic with the traces visible and I'll scribble on what I'd do :thumb:

The diodes aren't connected across the board so the switches should be.  Touch a wire between the two green dots, if it outputs a P you can solder to the other pin (orange line) :)

I connected the two green dots with a wire and I get no input... :(

That's very strange - I'd expect it to type a letter/character, it just might not be a P.

What about the pin the other side of D8?

Ah, U shaped 'Columns' spanning two physical ones - missed that!  D13 is clearly connected to D15 in your second pic but I looked left...

Glad you got it working anyway :thumb:

Now there's a new problem. After I fixed my P key I desoldered switches out and put new ones in and now a whole lot more have stopped working. I know it's not the actual switches, it's this crappy pcb- but i'll have to make due since it's all I have lol.

Attached is the image of the keys that have stopped working now; they are highlighted. Please help, anyone! ;o

That's on the ground plane.. you dont' even need a jumper 

Just scratch the grid around it to expose some copper, and spread solder onto it..
