I just wanted to know what type of switches these use the model number is:

From the spec sheet - either rubber domes or scissor switches.
-
is there any info on scissor switches here?
Does anyone have any recomendation for a Mac keyboard with blue cherries and USB ports?

I don't think it's very easy to find an Apple-oriented keyboard with blue Cherry switches, but you can probably find one with Windows keys. If you plug it in via USB, it shouldn't have any trouble.

The Das S would probably be what you're looking for. They sell optional Mac keys for use with it.

Yeah
I actually would like to purchase it. But the PC version is out of stock ... and I do not see any international shipping.

I'm not so sure there is a PC version of that 'board available yet. DSI has been pimping that thing for about 2 years now, and the Mac one is the only one available. That said, it is only keycaps that make the difference, so if you are using Windows or Linux, STOP WHINING (http://geekhack.org/showwiki.php?title=Island:8572).

I actually prefer the Control and Alt keys next to eachother rather than surrounding the Windows key

That is just part of the problem. The smaller one.
