Title: ANSI vs ISO layout and stabiliser question
Post by: A7ibaba on Mon, 16 January 2017, 08:40:21
Hi i have das Keyboard 4 ISO layout. I want to order ANSI 104 blank keycaps. Would there be a problem with stabiliser on ENTER and left SHIFT since these keys on ISO are shorter. Are these 2 layout compatible with stabiliser on DAS 4 keyboard?

No, you can't use the ANSI left Shift key, ANSI Enter or the ANSI \  key on a ISO keyboard. The switches are in different positions and the position of the stabilisers follow the position of the switches.

BTW. What set of blank keys are you planning on getting?
You could get blank keycaps that should fit the ISO layout in the picture from Max Keyboard (http://www.maxkeyboard.com/max-iso-105-key-cherry-mx-replacement-keycap-set-blank.html).
