Title: Good Hardwoods for KBs

Since our friend sacrificed his fingers to the wood gods, I've gotten a new respect for the stuff. Doing some experiments with walnut have had great results and I'm probably going go be building a new keyboard entirely out of the stuff. Anyone have any other suggestions for hardwoods that machine well, look appealing, and feel nice unfinished?

Good woods:
Walnut - 10/10. Super rigid, machines well, looks great!
